About MGCS
Middle Georgia Christian School was established as a private
Christian, non-profit school. In September 1975, M.G.C.S. began
with only twenty-five kindergarten students and now houses preschool
classrooms for three and four year olds as well as kindergarten
through the eleventh grade. In 1993, we applied for accreditation
with Georgia Accrediting Commission. In 1994, we were granted
provisional accreditation, and, in 1995, full accreditation.
The school year 2001 brought yet another milestone for Middle
Georgia Christian School: our move into our new buildings on
Thomaston Road.
Our new 52-acre campus consists of: a multi-purpose building which
houses preschool, elementary, middle, and high school classrooms,
offices and a 400-seat auditorium; a gymnasium and technology center
for sports, science and computer labs; a Bible camp contains cabins,
a pavilion, a craft cabin, a bath house, a playground, and a softball;
two new playgrounds; nature trails and a lake for casual tours or
collecting specimens for science classes and two soccer fields.

Middle Georgia Christian School offers quality education for children
from preschool ages 3 and 4 years old, kindergarten 5, and 1st through
the 12th grade. It is a church-related, private school in which we
teach Bible daily. We teach each subject from a Christian point of
view. One of our goals is to instill in each student an understanding
and appreciation for the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
Each school-day begins with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance to
the flag.
